Concierge Marketing came to be in November, 2004. In October of that year, Lisa was between jobs and having nearly two decades of printing and independent publishing experience, was asked by a longtime friend to help her self-publish her first book. Little did we know that the birth of that first book would bring us to where we are today.
The pleasure of seeing that first author and her first-born book sent Lisa a message that publishing and helping independent authors was truly her calling. Shortly after, CMI was incorporated and the transition from working out of her basement to having a crack staff, office space, warehousing and fulfillment capabilities, was rampant destiny. And so many times since that first book five years ago, we've been part of an amazing birth time and time again -- the germination of an idea, the waiting and worrying, and the eventual delivery of a lifelong dream for many authors. It's a new experience every time, and we are truly honored to be part of it. We love the creative and operational processes, the books and especially, the dreamers.
CMI will help you publish a book that you will love! Others will love it, too. We will set you up as a true small publisher -- what we call a micro publisher. You will own every aspect of your book, your company and your profits -- we are just there to help you through the process and fill in the gaps for you.
Meet the Team
Lisa Pelto, President and CEO. She will help you create the very best book possible! Lisa speaks to groups both locally and nationally on cause-related marketing, cost control, manufacturing, special markets and other publishing issues. She is actively involved with the local Rotary Club, ToastMasters, a member of the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, Millard Business Association, SCBWI, Greater Omaha American Marketing Association, and a faculty member of PMA University (Publisher’s Marketing Association).
Erin, Marketing Manager. Erin aptly juggles media, exhibits, book marketing and publicity, search engine marketing and optimization, as well as your appearances.
Eric, VP/CFO. Eric keeps watch over our finances, as well as keeping our website operating as it should.
Gary, Graphic Designer. Gary creates all of our covers, interiors, collateral material, websites, and anything with graphics.
Ellie, Office Manager. Fulfillment, billing support, file organization, compliance and perfect binder.
